The CompanyThis business has grown from a small base to a sizeable business over a period of 3 years. Consequently, the CEO is looking for a right-hand person to take over Finance BAU so that he can continue to focus on the strategic development of the Company. The Company has grown to a mid-size, profitable business with a proven, senior leadership team who have strong backers and a track record of delivering sustainable growth and development of similar businesses.
The Role:Reporting into the CEO, the role covers the financial management and reporting and management of a small team including a bookkeeper and payroll manager. You will be the business partner to a team of branch managers and work with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive delivery of a comprehensive business strategy.
Duties include:Oversight of all month-end processes and preparation and delivery of month-end management accounting, quarterly board packs, weekly and monthly operational KPI reporting.Preparation of the annual financial statements.Business partnering with branch managers to help them understand their financial performance and how they can drive improvements.Preparation of budgeting, forecasting and undertaking cash-flow management.Supporting management and working with the CEO to support the profitable growth and expansion of the company (includes financial modelling and analysis).Oversight of Payroll functions, systems and settings and Award Rates (Employment Hero).Preparation and lodgement of BAS/IAS, FBT and Payroll Tax including assistance with preparation and lodgement of Corporate Tax.You:You will thrive in an environment that will support your learning and development whilst offering flexibility.
