Finance Manager Perth £ Competitive DOE The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for a Finance Manager for a leading privately owned collection of diverse and dynamic forward-thinking companies based in Perth. The Finance Manager will report into the Directors of the business. As a Finance Manager, you will control the day-to-day functions within accounts with 5 members of staff reporting directly into you.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and collaborating with other departments to optimise financial processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
Overview of the role Finance Manager Salary – DOE Holidays: 30 days. 1 additional per year of service, maximum of 5. Buy additional 5 Company Pension On-site parking Location – Perth Responsibilities Manage all accounting transactions for a group of companies Manage the accounts team of 5 people Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Forecasts for the group company directors Prepare budget forecasts Publish financial statements in time Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings Compute taxes and prepare tax returns All accounts payable and receivable are reconciled by your team Ensure timely bank payments are made by your team Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements Report on the company's financial health and liquidity Audit financial transactions and documents Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary Develop, implement and comply with financial policies and regulations. Essential skills Relevant qualifications within the finance sector or accounting Significant work experience as an Accountant/Finance Manager Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software including Sage Advanced MS Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables Experience with general ledger functions Recognised accounting qualification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided.
