They are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Finance Manager to take charge of managing the financial operations for the business.
You'll oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting along with managing work-in-progress reports and conducting in-depth financial analysis.
The Position: Reporting to the Directors, your primary responsibilities will include:
Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll management.Manage and lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to inform and support strategic business decisions.Conduct project costing analysis by comparing actual costs to estimates.Perform detailed WIP analysis to monitor project progress and profitability.Calculate and manage FBT obligations.Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.Provide strategic financial advice and actionable recommendations for decision-making.Prepare and manage bank guarantees to support business stability.Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.Oversee cash flow planning and management.The Candidate: CPA or CA qualified.Proven proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and in-depth financial analysis.Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to create complex models and analyses.FMCG, Manufacturing or Infrastructure industry experience is highly desirable.Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated success in leading and developing a high-performing finance team.The Benefits: Circa $155,000 plus super plus bonus.Parking on site.Well established and stable environment.An organisation with high staff retention.Hands-on position with ongoing challenges.
