This national award-winning practice with a reputation for delivering quality projects is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the organisation's financial operations, ensuring fiscal stability, and maintaining accurate accounting records within a national award-winning design practice. It includes overseeing payroll, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving financial systems for greater efficiency. The position requires strong problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Responsibilities: Process payroll for 50+ employees with external provider.Manage onboarding/offboarding and reconcile accounts.Record payments, prepare client invoices and follow up on overdue invoices.Handle client queries and support project billing.Prepare invoices for payment.Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheets).Assist with financial statements and project tracking.Prepare BAS, Payroll Tax, and annual reconciliation reports.Assist with FBT and liaise with auditors.Develop and monitor financial systems and procedures.Reconcile bank and ledger accounts.Assist with cash flow management.Skills and Experience: Experience within design, architecture or construction ideal.Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting.Resourceful problem-solver, able to work independently and seek guidance when needed.Collaborative team player, leads by example and fosters positive relationships.Clear and adaptable communicator, both written and oral.Professional, handling challenges calmly and setting a positive example for others.Strong organizational and time management skills, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.Detail-oriented, committed to producing high-quality, accurate work.REFERENCE: AM 68104 If the above position appeals to you then please submit your CV and if applicable, work samples (no more than 10mb PDF attachment) to ****** and we'll be in touch.
