As the Finance Manager, you will lead a finance team, support strategic decision making and ensure the financial health of the organization. Reporting to the Director – Finance, you will oversee the financial operations, month end close & reporting, tax & regulatory compliance, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll management.
Responsibilities:Lead the Australian finance team to meet operational requirements and promote professional development.All aspects of month end close procedures including journal entries, account reconciliations and submission of all required financial reporting.Ensure compliance with all local tax and reporting regulations including maintaining statutory financial statements.Monitor financial performance and prepare monthly reports and variance analysis for senior management.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions.Preparation of weekly creditor/debtor reports.Management of cash-flow and working capital including weekly cash flow forecasting.Lead annual audit, tax and statutory reporting preparation.Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement financial best practices.Qualifications and Attributes:Tertiary degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.At least 6+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a publicly listed environment.CPA or CA qualification.Experience with preparing financial statements and performance reporting.Outstanding analytical skills, data interpretation skills and understanding of forecast and planning processes required.Deep understanding of accounting, reporting and governance with knowledge of IFRS standards.Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing a team.Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of interacting across all levels of the business.Confident with MS Excel and ERP systems.Natural problem-solver and passionate about continuous improvement.Proven experience in leading a team.Any offer of employment with YETI is contingent on a successful criminal background check and successful reference checks.
