We have been engaged to recruit a permanent, full-time Finance Manager to sit as the genuine 2IC underneath the Finance Director.Our client is a large, listed FMCG organisation along Sydney's Northwest corridor that has been heavily involved in M&A activities over the past twelve months.The Benefits? Duties include (not limited to):Mentor, lead & develop the existing finance team of ten (10) FTE;Preparation of general purpose financial statements;Preparation of technical accounting papers & memorandums;Lead the cyclical reporting requirements across month, quarter & year end including relevant compliances;Deliver monthly management reporting packs;Engage with & act as a liaison for external parties;Oversight of continuous improvement within the function; andEngage with ad-hoc projects including implementation of BI tools, optimisation within SAP & supporting M&A activities.The Successful CandidateFrom a technical aspect our client has placed importance on hiring someone with relevant tertiary qualifications (CPA, CA or ACCA) & similar, relevant experience from the FMCG, Manufacturing or Supplier-side world.They are also seeking someone with working, practical experience utilising SAP, ideally S4 Hana but prior versions are OK.Experience leading medium scale teams with examples of developing, hiring & managing will be paramount & questions around this will be present during first round interviews.Culturally they are seeking someone who is passionate, engaging, ambitious & an out of the box thinker in the ever-evolving finance world.How to ApplyFor more information or a confidential discussion please call David Stuart - Watt at u&u at quoting reference number 39040.At u&u Recruitment Partners, we value diversity, equity and inclusion.
