Finance Manager

The organisation
We currently assist a well-regarded national healthcare organization to hire a Finance Manager in Melbourne. This is a permanent, full-time position located in the city-center.
The role
Reporting to the CEO, this position will be responsible for leading the Finance team. Main responsibilities will include:
Leading the completion of month end accounts, journal adjustments and balance sheet reconciliationPreparing financial statements and ad-hoc financial reportsMonitoring internal controls and coordinating annual auditsEnsuring reporting is in place to measure key contracts KPIsLeading the annual budgeting process, as well as forecasting activitiesSupporting Commercial and Operations teams with financial information and reporting to support decision makingOverseeing day-to-day financial operations (accounts, payroll, contracts management, procurement)Improving financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectivenessSkills & experience required CA/CPA qualification, with relevant tertiary qualification (Commerce, Finance)Previous experience working for a labour driven business is advantageous (aged care, healthcare, staffing, hospitality, facilities management, etc.)Strong experience in Operations Finance and Financial ReportingExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesGreat communication and interpersonal skillsIf this sounds like you, please hit 'apply' to be considered!
