With a strong pipeline of new business and projects ahead, Clenergy Australia is seeking a career-minded, senior finance professional to join its finance team as second in charge to the International Chief Financial Officer within their Australian headquarters in Clayton as Finance Manager.
Characteristics of the Finance Manager Position: The Finance Manager position leads the finance team and works closely with the International CFO and Senior Leadership Team to influence key business decisions that support long-term strategic business initiatives.
Reporting directly to the International CFO, the Finance Manager is a pivotal, newly created position within Clenergy Australia with the clear mandate to be the second in charge in the finance team. This role has been created to support the International CFO with the leadership and management of the finance team.

Reports to: International CFO
The role will have the opportunity to optimise the finance function, provide high quality financial analysis and reports, develop the financial acumen of wider business stakeholders, partner with business leaders to commercialise their respective business goals, whilst holding the business accountable to the delivery of financial goals and maintaining a healthy financial position.
Key Responsibilities: Compliance Reporting and Taxation: Weekly, monthly and yearly financial and management reporting Support tax compliance and advisory in conjunction with the support of external consultants including Income Tax, FBT and Transfer Pricing Management of the annual audit and financial statements Financial Planning and Analysis: Periodic strategic budgeting and forecasting Trend/variance and scenario analysis Support the building of business cases Opex budgeting and analysis Inventory Management: Warehousing and inventory management including supporting the International CFO with stock, margin and pricing analysis Product costing Analysis and control of inventory, warehousing and shipping costs Business Process Improvement and Value Creation: Continuous improvement of the internal control framework Find opportunities to streamline and optimize processes and procedures Stakeholder Leadership and Management: Manage two capable direct reports being a Management Accountant and an Assistant Accountant Build stakeholder relationships with the Sales team as well as finance stakeholders based in China's finance center Play a leadership role in promoting a collaborative team culture, demonstrating the company values and a focus on continuous improvement. Other duties: Insurance cover management including policy review and renewal Foreign Exchange Contract management Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will likely have the following:
Approximately 8 to 12 years' experience within a growing small to medium sized enterprise likely in the import/distribution, manufacturing, consumer products and/or logistics sectors where you have managed inventory Demonstrated commercial and analytical mindset, strong communication ability, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent stakeholder management experience including demonstrated ability to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders SAP or another well-regarded ERP system experience Fluency in Mandarin speaking skills would be an advantage What We Offer: A market competitive remuneration package and profit-sharing system.
