As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the role incorporates breadth and depth for the successful candidate to make their own mark upon the Company's next phase of growth and success. In addition to core finance functions, the role encompasses contributions to overall business strategy, and where relevant, ownership of growth and improvement initiatives.

Some key responsibilities include :
Financial Planning and Analysis : Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Cost Management : Monitor project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and identifying areas for improvement. Reporting and Compliance : Ownership of the complete finance function across the business, including preparation of financial reports and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Cash Flow Management : Oversee cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure timely invoicing and collections. Team Leadership and Collaboration : Lead the finance team and selected business initiatives. Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights for project success and the broader team where initiatives require. Business Improvement : Identify and drive opportunities for improved business outcomes, particularly with respect to finance related functions. Skills Financial Acumen : Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic solutions. Interpersonal Effectiveness : The ability to communicate, lead and inspire at all levels, across internal and external stakeholders. Technical Proficiency : Expertise in financial software, ERP systems, including ability to adapt to new software/systems. Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus. Professional Certification : CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is highly desirable. Experience : Several years of experience in finance, with a focus on project finance or within the construction, engineering or consultancy sectors.
