Position Overview: As the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in driving financial strategy and ensuring the sound financial health of My Dream Caravan. You will oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and compliance, while working closely with the leadership team to support the company's strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Strategy: Lead the financial planning process, develop long-term financial strategies, and ensure the alignment of financial goals with company objectives. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to management. Monitor key financial indicators and provide insights to support decision-making. Cost Control & Efficiency: Identify areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvement in the manufacturing process, working closely with production and supply chain teams. Inventory & Supply Chain Financial Support: Manage financial aspects related to inventory control and supply chain operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization. Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including cash flow management, capital allocation, and financial forecasting to ensure business stability. ERP & Financial Systems Management: Oversee the implementation and optimization of ERP systems to ensure efficient financial reporting and data accuracy. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to enhance team performance. Compliance & Auditing: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and work with auditors to maintain strong governance and financial transparency. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or CFA preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management. Strong proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Expertise in ERP systems and advanced Excel for data modeling and financial reporting. Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing cross-functional financial operations. Strong knowledge of Australian financial regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. Desirable Attributes: Ability to foster relationships with external partners to support business growth and innovation.
