Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for excellence and a commitment to making a difference? Healthscope, a leading provider of healthcare services, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Manager to join our team at The Victoria Clinic on a Part Time basis of 22.8 hours a week. This is a newly created role, designed to support our growing site with strategic financial support.

The Victoria Clinic is a newly built, state of the art, architecturally designed; purpose built mental health facility, a 115 patient-bed private facility that specialises in the provision of high quality inpatient and outpatient mental health services. Located right in the heart of Prahran, tied to the local community the site is going through an exciting time of growth as we expand the number of rooms available for inpatients, expanding our ability to provide greater mental health support to the community.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the executive team, ensuring robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Operational Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls. Financial Analysis and Decision Support: Conduct detailed financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions, identify opportunities for cost savings, and drive revenue growth. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, and manage financial risks effectively. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CFA certification preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably within the healthcare sector. Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Attributes: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization, results orientated with a proactive approach to challenges.
