As Finance Manager, you role will encompass overseeing and managing the financial aspects of Accor to guarantee its financial well-being and success. This includes formulating policies and procedures to establish a robust internal control environment at property level.
Primary Responsibilities Work with and maintain constructive relationships with property General Managers and their teams in the operation of the properties within the area Ongoing assistance to General Managers in respect of operational matters that have a financial perspective Development of financial procedures and analysis to support property initiatives Establishment and management of appropriate accounting controls and procedure to maintain the integrity and manage business risks, ensuring compliance with standard and local operating procedures Oversee and finalise accurate and timely preparation of property financial reports. Review with Management Accounting Team and General Managers Ensures that P&L's are accurate (i.e., costs are properly matched to revenue, costs are recorded in the proper accounts) and statements are delivered to appropriate individuals in a timely manner Advise the Regional Finance Manager and Regional Financial Controller on existing and evolving operating/ financial issues Regular contact and attendance at meetings with owners/ owners representatives Skills and Experience Proven track record and strong understanding of management accounting Degree qualified is essential, working towards a CA or CPA qualification advantageous Time management skills, ability to set goals and priorities tasks for self and team Strong leadership in addition to attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills Excellent written and oral communication skills ALL Heartist Membership -Take advantage of discounts on accommodation and food & beverage worldwide!
