Due to local and international expansion, they have created a position as Finance Manager to add to the growing team.The RoleReporting to the Group Financial Controller and working closely with business stakeholders, you will be the Finance Manager for one of the most important Group businesses, managing one direct report. Your duties will include but not be limited to:-Develop and oversee long-term financial strategies with the Group GM, including forecasts and scenario planning.Analyse key financial data to highlight trends, potential risks, and opportunities for enhancement.Prepare a range of management reports, including Profit & Loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow projections, and variance analyses.Collaborate with department heads to create and manage budgets, offering support and guidance on effective financial management.Conduct cost analysis and implement cost control measures to align expenses with budget targets.Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies across the business.Evaluate product and service profitability, recommending actions to improve profit margins.Manage cash flow planning and oversee funds for daily operations.Ensure adherence to all tax obligations, including corporate tax, GST, payroll tax, and other relevant taxes.Identify financial risks and establish strategies to minimize exposure.Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial policies.Assist in managing the ERP system (MYOB Advance) and related financial reporting tools.Support the implementation of new ERP modules for warehouse, procurement, and production.Ensure that financial systems are current and effective in providing accurate, real-time insights.Train staff on financial systems and ensure seamless integration across departments.Lead and mentor direct reports, fostering professional development and managing performance.Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations, HR) to provide financial insights that guide strategic decisions.Act as a trusted financial advisor to the GFC, AU Group GM, and other senior leaders.Drive business transformation projects, ensuring financial priorities are central to business growth plans.About YouThey are seeking your strong interpersonal skills and your attitude to want to develop and make a positive impact.
