Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for: Board reporting: With impressive industry leaders on the board, you will need to provide quality reports supported by meaningful insights Team Management: Leading a small team, you will be overseeing areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and the end-of-month accounting processes Financial and management reporting Managing the annual budget process and forecasts Reviewing critical commercial or supplier contracts, and where necessary, liaise with external legal advisors Tax compliances Analyse various revenue and cost scenarios Your Profile: This role will allow you to work in close consultation with the senior leadership team and board and your contributions will be highly valued and respected.
To truly succeed in this role, you should be able to demonstrate: Experience preparing board reporting packs and liaising with board members.
This will provide you with a strong competitive advantage.
Experience taking ownership of managing an accounting function for an organisation while being able to motivate and lead a small team.
An ability to think strategically while taking ownership of the accounting function.
You should also be comfortable immersing yourself in the details and being hands-on.
You should be CPA or CA qualified.
You will be able to inspire and mentor your staff while building good relationships with internal stakeholders in the business.
