The company was founded in 1994 and is one of Australia's leading suppliers of all things in, on and around concrete. They also provide wholesale distribution of industrial concrete supplies to trade stores throughout Australia. With recent growth in their business, they are seeking a full-time qualified Finance Manager to join their professional team.

The Position...
The Finance Manager will demonstrate their financial leadership, show initiative, innovation and bring a business savvy approach to the financial aspects of the organisation. The position is responsible for the overall finance functions of the organisation, including management reporting, audit support, budgeting, forecasting, BAS reconciliations, capital structure assessment, arranging debt/equity financing, accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. The position is also responsible to oversee the improvement of financially related internal controls and processes across the wider organisation and to support the operations through the effective management of suppliers. You will also support the executive management team by offering insights and financial analysis which will allow them to make both timely and best business decisions for the company.

The Ideal Candidate...
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager or equivalent
• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
• Proficient use and experience in financial software
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong financial reporting and tax experience
• A thorough understanding of financial governance practices
• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are followed
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
