My client is seeking a high calibre Qualified Big 4 1st Mover who is currently an Audit Manager / Senior Manager, or 2nd Mover currently performing a similar role.
This is a broad and high profile role giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on the business, with a clear pathway to progression to Financial Controller.
Description Responsibilities include: Managing and providing leadership to the finance team Overseeing the financial control process including month end close, reconciliations, journal adjustments, prepayments and accruals Performing financial consolidation Preparation of financial statements Preparation and lodgement of tax returns, BAS & FBT Working closely with various AASB standards Liaising with the external auditors Overseeing the monthly management reporting process including variance analysis of budget vs actual, identify drivers of variance, preparation of board reports.
Assisting in the annual budgeting process and long-term strategic planning, as well as periodic re-forecasting to support business decision-making.
Providing insightful commentary and detailed reporting to stakeholders, including equity investors and sophisticated debt providers.
Conducting adhoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.
Profile This is an excellent opportunity for a CA Qualified Big 4 1st Mover who is currently an Audit Manager / Senior Manager, or 2nd Mover currently performing a similar role to broaden their exposure and work for a well known brand with excellent progression opportunities.
The successful candidate must be: CA / CPA qualified Must have Financial Services background, ideally within Lending / Securitisation 5+ years experience across Big 4 External Audit / similar Finance Manager role within a Group Finance team Experience working closely with various AASB standards Experience with technical Accounting papers Strong tax background and internal controls background Confidence and the ability to hold your own when liaising with senior stakeholders Detail-oriented, hands on approach, can-do attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills Curious by nature, adaptable, resilient, problem solver, team player Enjoys working in a collaborative environment Advanced / Intermediate Excel skills (ability to build pivots, v-lookups and complex formulas) Job Offer This is a permanent role and the salary on offer is $150k to $160k base + super + bonus potential.
