This organisation has a period of projected growth on the horizon.Your new roleThis role supports the Financial Controller & CFO with a primary focus on the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and corporate obligations, operational efficiency, and accurate financial reporting.
You will be overseeing the Accounts teams in their key financial processes and controls.The key duties for the role include:Oversee daily AR/AP functions, including invoicing, payments, GL coding, and tax compliance.Supervise AR/AP teams, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, collections, and payments.Prepare cash flow, working capital, and ad-hoc reports.Support the Financial Controller in implementing robust internal controls and monitoring compliance.Assist in Group reporting and local GAAP statutory reporting during interim and year-end close processes.Drive continuous improvement across the AR/AP function.What you'll need to succeedDegree qualified in accounting, with CA or CPA preferred.Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in a medium-sized enterprise.Proven experience in a similar or equivalent role within a comparable organisation.Exceptional accuracy in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance tasks and Excel skills.Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and a positive work environment.Ability to manage relationships with external parties, such as auditors and regulatory authorities.What you'll get in returnThis is a rare opportunity to be part of a reputable Gold Coast organisation with a driven, hardworking team.
