Read more about 'Our Way' of working and our culture on our Careers website. THE ROLE As our Finance Lead, you'll play a key role in helping Animals Australia operate efficiently, effectively, and compassionately.
This is not your average finance role—this is about identifying opportunities for improvements, simplifying processes, and helping others feel empowered through better systems.
You will:
Manage key financial processes, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and compliance obligations and reportingSupport the organisation with financial guidance that empowers teams to work smarter, not harderAnalyse and build reports that give insights to guide decision-makingDrive process improvements and explore automation opportunities to reduce complexity and enhance efficiencyEnsure financial governance frameworks are clear, effective, and flexible enough to meet evolving needsYou're driven by the challenge of streamlining systems, cutting through the 'noise', and enabling others to do their best work.
With a talent for demystifying complex financial concepts, you translate them into clear, actionable insights for the team.
