About the role
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the finance function supporting MA's Asset Management business. The MA Asset Management finance team provides accounting and operational support including:

Fund accounting, unit pricing, distributions, tax compliance, and cash management for registered and unregistered schemes
Supporting with reporting, investor queries, treasury management and transaction advisory
Partnering with investment, distribution and client services teams
Financial statements preparation and audit support
Maintaining strong relationships with fund administrators, auditors and tax advisors
Providing coverage for middle office function pertaining to trade support, settlement transaction queries, reconciliation, portfolio positions and cash balances
Assisting with implementation of new operational controls, policies and procedures – drafting policies, procedures, checklists, templates and process maps as required

About you

Experience with equities / private equity & venture capital finance
Basic understanding of middle office processes (ideal but not necessary)
Proven technical proficiency across fund accounting and tax
CA or CPA qualified
Enjoys working in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Highly organised, detail-oriented, with ability to manage competing deliverables

Excellent written and verbal communications.

Compensation
Base salary range from $100,000 - $125,000 (gross) p.a.
