About the role This role is an exciting opportunity to join the finance function supporting MA's Asset Management business. The MA Asset Management finance team provides accounting and operational support including:
Fund accounting, unit pricing, distributions, tax compliance, and cash management for registered and unregistered schemesSupporting with reporting, investor queries, treasury management and transaction advisoryPartnering with investment, distribution and client services teamsFinancial statements preparation and audit supportMaintaining strong relationships with fund administrators, auditors and tax advisorsProviding coverage for middle office function pertaining to trade support, settlement transaction queries, reconciliation, portfolio positions and cash balancesAssisting with implementation of new operational controls, policies and procedures drafting policies, procedures, checklists, templates and process maps as requiredAbout you Experience with equities / private equity & venture capital financeBasic understanding of middle office processes (ideal but not necessary)Proven technical proficiency across fund accounting and taxCA or CPA qualifiedEnjoys working in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environmentAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesHighly organised, detail-oriented, with ability to manage competing deliverablesA continual improvement mindsetExcellent written and verbal communications.The ability to make decisions in an ever-changing environment.Excellent organisational skills and a team player.Compensation Base salary range from $100,000 - $125,000 (gross) p.a.
