THE ROLE They are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Director to join their dynamic team and play a key role in driving their financial strategy.
In this position, you will report into the CEO and work closely with the Partners, overseeing a range of accounting activities to ensure the financial control requirements of the business are met.
Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering growth and operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage monthly practice management accounts, reporting, and variance analysisOversee the group's financial statements on a monthly and quarterly basisProduce performance, consolidated, and divisional reports with analytical reviewsPrepare the firm's budget, including Profit & Loss, Cashflow, and Balance SheetMonitor finances and cash flow, including WIP and Debtors daysDevelop strategic initiatives to streamline operations and boost profitabilityManage creditor payments in line with cashflowLiaise with banks regarding firm borrowings and financing needsAssist the CEO in identifying and evaluating new business opportunitiesHandle practice insurance, including management liability, ISR and public liability.Contribute to strategic plan development and implementation, ensuring measurable outcomes.Prepare reports for internal and external benchmarkingVerify payroll and set up offshore finance admin functionsCreate a performance measurement framework for tracking goalsMentoring and leading 3 direct reportsWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: CA/CPA qualification and a relevant degree in Accounting/Finance15+ years of experience leading internal finance teams, preferably in professional servicesStrong technical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skillsExperience in building offshore finance capabilitiesDynamic attitude with a proactive approach to servicing colleagues and clientsMentorship skills to actively develop and grow the teamAbility to take ownership and initiative in driving resultsClient-centric with exceptional people management skills, committed to driving business development and ensuring effective business operationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerBIWHAT IS ON OFFER: Flexible work with 3 days in-office and 2 days WFHEarly start and finish on the first Friday of each monthCelebration Perks: Month end birthday and celebration drinksWellness Programs: Weekly meditation and monthly yoga sessionsCasual Friday'sActive social club with numerous opportunities to connect with othersLearning-on-the-go with the Go1 tech-enabled platformClear and transparent career pathways for professional growthFinancial support for further educationAnnual flu shot and weekly fruit delivery for employee well-beingJoin an aspirational and ambitious team where core values are actively embraced and feedback fuels growth.
