Finance Director

Business partnering and team leadership focus$250k - $280k + Super + BonusThis large private property development group has a strong multi-billion dollar pipeline of projects in place and is well set for future growth. As part of this, they are looking for a new Finance Director to come on board and take ownership of their finance function.Reporting to the CEO, the role will entail:Lead, develop and mentor a team of 10+ accountants covering reporting, project accounting, tax, and payrollOversight of all financial reporting at a group levelManagement of group cashflowProfitability and performance analysisOwnership of budgets and forecastsKey finance contact for the ELT and key managers across the businessManagement of relationship with outsourced providersImplementation of controls and processes to facilitate ongoing growthOversight of all relevant complianceYou will be CA/CPA qualified with 15+ years of experience at Senior Financial Controller/Head of Finance level ideally from a construction/development background and have previously directly managed teams of 5-8+. Strong Excel and system skills, as well as experience in finance transformation and change management are key. The ability to lead and inspire others, excellent business partnering skills, ability to operate in a fast-paced complex environment, and strong communication skills are essential.
