Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (On-site) The Green Recruitment Company are currently working with a Global Power company as they seek to hire a Finance Director in Melbourne.
Having been active in the Australian market from afar they're looking to solidify their commitment to the region and begin building out a local presence to support all current and future projects, with this hire being key to their growth.
Your role:Leading and overseeing all aspects of corporate finance including accounting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, financing, insurance and financial planning & analysis.
Develop and implement an effective and sustainable financial strategy and capital structuring of the business.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the highest standard of corporate governance, compliance and internal control.
Build a world-class finance function to enhance the organisation's capabilities through effective leadership, coaching and personal growth of the team.
Your profile:University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Professionally qualified as a CA, CPA, CMA or similar
12+ years experience and a background in having led a finance function ideally in a large multinational
Exposure to international companies with large complexity and offshore reporting lines
A high degree of integrity and driven by process improvement
Experience working across Renewable Energy, Power or Utilities is highly desired
