Finance Director

Linum Consult's client is seeking a Finance Director with experience in the power and utilities sector to be based in Melbourne. RESPONSIBILITIES Overseeing aspects of accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banks, payroll, inventory, fixed assetsMaintaining general ledger accounts, ensuring proper and accurate journal entry preparationMaintaining a robust compliance frameworkManaging the preparation and review of tax calculations, estimates, and reportsEnsuring a robust tax compliance framework and the timely filing of all corporate tax returnsEnsuring an effective treasury management as well as a robust risk control environmentEnsuring proper cash flow planning with the aim of satisfying timely cash requirements of the business, and ensuring optimal capital structuring at all timesManaging excess of liquidity and recommending measure to optimise returns from temporary cash investments in compliance with the established treasury policyLeading all activities related to the administration of the project financing arrangements in placePROFILE Degree qualification in Finance and/or Business Administration with a professional qualification CFA.
