Finance Cost Administrator-260084About the roleUGL are currently seeking a detail oriented Financial Cost Administrator to join our Corporate Team in the Perth CBD.
The role will commence in July 2024, on a full time permanent basis.
You will be a local Perth resident and work a 5/2 roster.
This role will support the Finance Lead by managing cost administration, focusing on invoicing, reporting, month-end tasks, and contract administration.
The primary objectives are invoicing and lump sum performance analysis, along with daily assistance to the Finance Lead and Project Accountants.Key responsibility areas1.Monitor and analyze financial data related to costs and expenditures.2.Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports for several lump sum projects.3.Assist with end of month processes and financial reporting within required deadlines and to required levels of accuracy.4.Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure cost control measures are in place.5.Review and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.6.Manage and reconcile Work in Progress (WIP) balances effectively7.Maintain financial records and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.About YouYou will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another.
Ideally you will have:·Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration desirable.·Proven experience as a Finance Cost Administrator or similar role in a project environment·Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.·Proficiency in SAP (preferable) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.·High level of accuracy and attention to detail.·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.·Professional certification (CPA) is desirable.
