Reporting to the Finance & Commercial Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies and managing risks for post-contractual matters.
As a Finance & Commercial Manager in the West team, you'll make a positive impact by:
Developing commercial solutions to enhance contract profitabilityManaging pricing strategies and financial risk assessmentsLeading client negotiations (with state government) to resolve contract issuesProviding strategic guidance on financial performance and ROIOverseeing the accuracy of financial records and forecastsCoaching and mentoring team members in commercial best practicesYour ideal skills & experience: Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related fieldProven experience in post-contract commercial management, analysing scope creep & defining solutionsStrong negotiation skills with a track record of successful client engagementsExcellent people leadership skills & a proven ability to lead a high performing teamExpertise in financial modelling and risk assessmentAbility to influence senior leaders and drive operational excellenceUnderstanding of contract law and government-sector operations (preferred)As a fast-growing and successful global company, Serco's services span across areas such as Justice, Defence, Immigration, and more.
