The role
Key responsibilities undertaken by the Finance Collections Officer include:
recovery of outstanding debt from both rates and general debtors
·negotiating and monitoring payment arrangements
assessing customers under the Financial Hardship Policy
general maintenance of the rates database
To be successful in this role you will have:
relevant experience and qualifications
be proactive and demonstrate initiative
highly developed interpersonal skills for difficult conversations
an eye for process improvement
