Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.Roster:

Monday to Friday (some roles require frequent site travel)We are seeking motivated and passionate Finance professionals to join our Finance Business Partnering teams supporting our Metals and Energy businesses and Corporate Functions. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in driving financial decision-making processes, monitoring and uplifting financial performance, and ensuring the effective utilisation of resources in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.You will work closely with the senior management team to provide financial insights and reporting, improve budgeting/forecasting, support value optimisation and realisation, prepare and assess business cases, and provide commercial and analytical support to stakeholders.Key Responsibilities

Coordinating and delivering accurate month-end, quarterly forecast, and annual budget reportsBusiness partnering with key stakeholders to provide financial insights critical to decision-makingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor key financial performance indicators, identify business improvement opportunities, and implement cost-saving initiatives.Providing comprehensive analysis and driver-based cost variance analysis to support business decisionsIdentifying and driving value-adding opportunities and business improvement initiativesAssist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies - including streamlining, automating and improving processes and activitiesEnsuring compliance with accounting standards and Fortescue accounting policiesQualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related fieldCA/CPA/CIMA qualification5+ years management or financial accounting experience - experience in mining, resources, heavy industry or similar is preferred but not essentialAbility to interpret and identify key cost drivers to deliver insight and opportunity across all levels within the businessProficiency in accounting ERP system, Microsoft, and data analysis tools (SAP and Anaplan experience beneficial)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teamsPassion for continuous improvement, together with adaptability and problem-solving skillsAbility to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPlease note that part-time and job share arrangements are available, along with flexible working options.Our Commitment
