Role Description:The Finance Business Partner - Thermal Generation is an exciting opportunity in our Business Partnering and Project Governance team based at our Perth CBD office.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide first-class finance support for a diverse portfolio of Thermal Generation business units.
Contribute to the team's drive for continuous improvement by identifying and delivering opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:Financial reporting and analysis on Thermal Generation project settlements, investigating variances and identifying and driving corrective action plans and control measures to ensure best practice.Identify and drive efficiencies and continuous improvement in ways of working within the Thermal Generation Finance Business Partnering team, with a focus on streamlining activities across the various Thermal Generation functions.Being responsible for the Thermal Generation Support functions (Asset Optimisation and Thermal Projects) budgets, forecasts and month-end reporting and analysis.Supporting Finance Business Partner Lead and Senior Finance Business Partners with the preparation and consolidation of driver-based budgets/forecasts and month-end reporting and analysis.Build relationships cross-functionally with the Heads of Functions, Cost Centre Managers, and key business unit stakeholders - being their go-to SME for finance-related matters.
What You Will Bring:CPA/CA qualified or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial/management accounting role.Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems and business intelligence tools.Advanced Excel skills.Comfortable engaging across all levels in BUs for which responsible.
