Finance Business Partner / Management AccountantWe are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join us as a Management Accountant to partner with our Australian Gold Reagents (AGR) business, a joint venture between Wesfarmers/CSBP (75 per cent) and Coogee Chemicals (25 percent).
You will play a crucial role in providing timely, accurate, and insightful financial and non-financial information that positively influences decision-making within the joint venture.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager – Chemicals, the role also ensures appropriate control measures are in place to mitigate financial and operational risk, maintaining compliance with both Wesfarmers and WesCEF policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities: Preparing monthly financial management statements and reports for the joint venture to drive insights and enables informed decision making.Ensuring the quality, integrity, and efficiency of all reporting outputs for both internal and external users of financial and non-financial information.Providing technical accounting expertise and guidance specific transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and divisional policies.Proactively building strong relationships with key stakeholders across WesCEF and Coogee Chemicals.Completing various statutory requirements in relation to the joint venture.Preparing monthly forecasts, budgets, and five-year plans, supported by insightful commentary that links financial performance to key business drivers and strategies.Remaining inquisitive and challenging the business on forecasting, budgeting, and planning assumptions.Proactively identify, develop, lead, deliver and implement AGR specific finance initiatives and projects to achieve the Finance functions vision "to bravely and proactively influence the success of our business."About You: Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, CPA Australia, or equivalent qualifications.Well-developed technical accounting skillset including experience with joint venture accounting.Personal attributes include a continuous improvement and innovation mindset, resilience and tenacity, attention to detail, as well as an ability and confidence to navigate change, and master new skills and challenges.Being commercial, understanding the financial drivers/commercial levers for the business and capable of dealing with ambiguity and thinks through future scenarios.Delivering results analytical, fact-based logic and strong problem-solving skills, decisive, action orientated and outcome focused, with an ability to use storytelling to connect, influence and engage the audience.Critical experiences include managing complexity, effective business partnering and well developed accounting and assurance experiences.SAP experience is highly desired.We value our employees by offering: Competitive remuneration with allocation of Wesfarmers shares and participation in our annual incentive plan.Employer parental leave payment up to 18 weeks.Ongoing professional development and career opportunities across our diverse businesses and the Wesfarmers Group.Salary sacrifice opportunities, including novated lease vehicle packaging.Access to employee benefits across Wesfarmers including staff discounts at Bunnings, Kleenheat, Kmart, Target and Officeworks and Wesfarmers Arts sponsored events.WesCEF operates across multiple locations, with our two major hubs being in Kwinana and Murdoch.
