Finance Business Partner/Management Accountant - Government
Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team, on an initial 6 month contract. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a large project already underway in Brisbane.
Initial 6 month contract with possibility of extension
Attractive hourly rate
You will be playing a pivotal role in partnering with a number of teams within the business
What you'll do:
Develop and maintain productive partnerships with key stakeholders
Provide insightful information and advice to key stakeholders
Preparation, reporting and analysis of monthly reporting data, cost planning, forecasts and budgets
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports
Support project variation and change processes for major works contracts
Support the development and continuous improvement of finance and cost management systems
Work closely with the Financial Accounting team in the preparation of financial statements
What you'll bring:
Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to deal with ambiguity, finding clear solutions and communicating these effectively to stakeholders
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with completed CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
