Job Description Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aiding in better business managementLead the Forecasting & Budgeting process for efficient financial planningProvide timely, accurate, and insightful financial information through value-added reportingDevelop and implement key performance measures and trend analyses for improved transparencyChallenge partners to grasp risks and opportunities, optimising overall performanceContribute significantly to the commercial development of the business through collaborations with senior management and external stakeholdersEvaluate financial aspects of acquisitions, disposals, investments, and business proposals criticallyAssist in formulating and executing effective strategiesDrive continuous improvement in financial reporting systems and analysis processesCollaborate with Controllership to ensure efficient working capital management and compliance with accounting standardsMentor and support the development of junior finance colleagues The Successful Applicant CA or CPA qualified.Experience working within the Insurance IndustryStrong technical knowledge of accounting and reporting standards including and IFRS17 & APRA.
