Today, we offer the world's largest portfolio of building products, technologies, software, and services; we put that portfolio to work to transform the environments where people live, work, learn and play.About this opportunityThis role will report to the Senior Finance Manager and will have the opportunity to partner with the business across the states and ensure compliance with appropriate accounting standards to meet JCI requirements.You will be responsible for working across different functions including Sales & Project Managers teams for reporting and forecasting, tracking business performance, providing strategic financial insight and support to the local team. In addition, you will be the point of contact for all matters across functions within Australia, tracking performance, driving necessary corrective actions, and communicating with stakeholders.Responsibilities:Provide management with timely, accurate, and insightful information to drive business performance to enable tactical and strategic decisions.Collect budgeting, forecasting, and outlook processes for P&L, balance sheet, and working capital/cash flow.Take ownership of the financials and work closely with the Operations team for both Service and Install, providing day-to-day support where required.Identify and track KPIs and operational measures to enable business to thrive.Perform monthly reviews with the ops team to ensure projects have no risk and any risks or opportunities identified are addressed.Be a local support for the existing team in Melbourne on Finance and ensure correct reporting from all functions to align with JCI standards.Conduct month-end activities, including POC review with the Senior Business Finance Manager and closing month-end to meet all deadlines.Drive operational and process improvements in the FP&A function and lead reporting standardization and automation across the organization.Involve in standardizing processes in the business unit under control.Assess the efficiency of department overheads and prepare reports to evaluate branch performance.Ensure compliance with appropriate accounting policies/standards.Become the expert in ERP, explore current reports, and work with ERP consultants to drive standardized reports.What we look for:Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CA/CPA preferred.Minimum 7 years of experience.This role must deliver high-quality support for the ops team.Previous experience in POC, OS, and Pronto is preferred but not required.Good interpersonal skills, able to influence without authority, and comfortable interacting with colleagues at all organizational levels, including branch managers across the states.Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written. Able to focus on the big picture and simplify complex topics.Ambitious, self-driven, and highly motivated individual who can thrive in ambiguity, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.Experience working with offshore functions and/or different cultures preferred.If you are interested in this role, please click the apply button.
