Role Summary We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to provide financial and analytical support to our Finance team and the broader business.
Your focus will be on project accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to drive better outcomes. You will primarily support the Operations Division but also work across various business units and corporate functions.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Manage project accounting, including profit calculations, accruals, journals, invoicing, and reconciliations. Assist with sales and development expenditure forecasting and budgeting. Support system reporting development and implementation. Perform cost control, WIP reviews, and maintain forecasts in Clarity. Enhance project review processes, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Coordinate Treasury and Cabinet reporting. About you To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
You hold a qualification in Finance, Business Management or other related field. Proficient in using commercial accounting systems such as Oracle, SAP, or other ERP and BI products, with strong Excel skills. You are working towards or hold a membership of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) or the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA). You have practical accounting experience, with knowledge of current accounting standards and practices. You possess strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present reports. You are an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills in finance. Experience in an organisation with similar values and ethics to DevelopmentWA is highly desirable.
