Join the University of Newcastle's large finance team in 2025. As a Finance Business Partner, you'll collaborate with assigned business units to guide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting while delivering insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis: Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial modelling and variance analyses to support decision making and resource allocation.Stakeholder Engagement: Build effective relationships with diverse teams, providing financial advice and building financial literacy among leaders with non-financial backgrounds.Business cases and Capital Evaluation: Prepare business cases and evaluations to support effective resource management.Month-End and Reporting: Conduct month-end reviews, performance reporting, and provide in-depth analysis and insights.System Support and Change Management: Support non-finance users during process improvements, and system rollouts, including Tech One.This full-time role is based at our Callaghan Campus on Awabakal and Worimi land, with hybrid work opportunities available.
