About the team
Corporate Services teams at Metro are responsible for providing essential support services that enable the business to function efficiently and effectively. From Safety and People, Marketing and Communication, to Finance and Legal, and IT. Our Corporate Services teams work collaboratively to ensure that the business operates smoothly and as one team.
About the role
We're looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Projects Finance & Commercial team, supporting the business with financial and analytical insights to optimize outcomes for our Projects and Franchise portfolios. This is a 12-month max-term opportunity based in the CBD.
You will:

Provide financial reporting management across various projects within the Franchise portfolio.
Assist with month-end processes and preparation for finance reviews, maintaining high accuracy and detail.
Play a key role in preparing and validating budgets, forecasts, and projections, including the consolidation of monthly results.
Partner with key stakeholders across divisions to help understand, monitor, analyse, and report on financial performance.

About you

Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
CPA/CA preferred.
Skilled in preparing and collating financial information.
Proficient in Excel and business reporting tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across multiple disciplines.
Capable of analysing data and preparing clear, concise reports.
Confident in extracting, analysing, and presenting statistical data.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate organizational skills and initiative.
Able to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
Experience working in a matrix reporting environment.
