This is a great opportunity for multiple APS6 Finance Officers to join this busy team for a long-term 6-month temporary assignment.About the role:Preparing and reviewing data and workforce for allocating to project through WBS allocations and providing input to project forecasts.Working with business to assist with budget allocations and phasings, Agency Budget and Finance Committee (ABFC) submissions and financial analysis.Ensuring financial record accuracy, including regular GL, cost centre, PO review and amendment.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, implementing changes once approved and keeping records.Supporting financial decisions and budget process and assisting with project delivery within the portfolio/branch.Performing end of month reporting activities, including journals preparation, transaction analysis, and reports production.About you:You will have experience working with large volumes of financial data.You will have excellent attention to detail skills.You will have strong analytical skills.You will have previous experience working with SAP.You will have strong written and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.Benefits:ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance).6-month temporary assignment with the possibility of extension.Full-time hours Monday to Friday.Geelong and Richmond + hybrid working from home options.$60.26 per hour + Super.This role closes for applications 6th November 2024.Email ****** for more information.**** Successful candidates for the role must hold Australian Citizenship and will be required to clear a federal police check ****At Chandler Macleod, we are committed to fostering a diverse workforce where everyone is welcome.
