About the Role In this Finance Business Partner role, you will support various business functions at Sportsbet by providing critical financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. While you won't have a dedicated portfolio, you'll play an important part in supporting key stakeholders across the business, ensuring effective financial planning and performance management. You will assist with the consolidation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and play a role in financial modelling for investment decisions.
You will have the opportunity to manage key tasks and processes, stepping in to cover for team members during leave or temporary absences. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior finance professional looking to gain hands-on experience in business partnering, financial reporting, and budgeting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include: Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the preparation and management of departmental budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to assist senior leaders in decision-making. You will also help consolidate the overall P&L and provide commentary on financial performance. Business Partnering: Collaborate regularly with business departments to communicate financial performance, flag risks and opportunities, and provide insights on budget management. You'll also support the leadership team with updates and business momentum presentations. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and deliver high-quality commentary and analysis for regular reporting cycles, including weekly and monthly financial updates. You'll also support ad-hoc projects and help drive improvements in reporting processes. Financial Modelling: Assist with the development of financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis, to inform investment decisions and track business spend against budget. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to develop their skills in financial analysis, business partnering, and strategic planning. You will gain exposure to senior leaders and have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects across the business.
