Finance Business Partner

We are an Australian multinational company, with operations in Australia, New Zealand, North America and Europe. A well-established, rapidly growing business that partners with the Graphic and Packaging industry, with manufacturing operations globally.Working out of our manufacturing facilities in North Melbourne, this role will report directly to the Group CFO. This position will partner closely with the General Manager of Australia / NZ supporting the business in delivery of financial information and execution of business strategies.The Finance Business Partner role will focus on responsibilities such as business planning, budgeting, forecasting, standard costing and reporting.Key responsibilities include:Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to stakeholders, identifying potential upsides/downsides and explaining variances between actual results and budget.Educate business partners on interpreting financial results and their implications on business strategies.Support the month-end closing process, including accruals verification, input on business-specific reserves, and variance analyses.Review and update of standard costs for products.Prepare and analyse financial reports to monitor, forecast, and report on rates of return, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons.Monitor department expenses and capital budgeting through tracking and reporting activities.To be successful in this role you will have:Previous experience working in a manufacturing or similar industry.Strong computer skills in a major ERP software, with a high level of proficiency in SAP (or similar) and Microsoft Excel.Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.Tertiary qualifications in accounting along with CA / CPA qualification.Strong organisation skills and ability to manage priorities.We offer a competitive salary in a fun, energetic, family-oriented, and community-focused Company.If this role interests you and you want to make a difference in your next role, then we want to hear from you!
