Role: Finance Business Partner
Location: South Eastern Suburbs
Contract: 6 week contract
Hourly Rate: $48.40 per hour + super
Start Date: ASAP

Reporting to the Budgeting and Reporting Team Leader, you will provide high-level financial expertise to produce monthly reports, provide strategic support, and manage investment portfolios to help meet organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities: Produce and analyse monthly management financial reports, supporting variance analysis Coordinate month-end processes, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met Manage Council's investment portfolio according to policy, optimising returns Support the development of innovative reporting methods and system enhancements Prepare financial reports for senior management, offering clear insights and analysis Serve as a key contact for departmental managers, fostering effective relationships Essential Qualifications and Skills: CPA or equivalent accounting qualification 3-5 years' experience in financial/management accounting, ideally in a customer service-oriented role Advanced Excel skills, with experience in large data analysis Proficiency in Technology One and strong technical accounting skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Interested?
