Job DescriptionSedgman is in the process of recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join the team in Brisbane.
This role will be for a 14-month contract with a regional remit working across multiple entities.
You will play a key role in the implementation and analysis of all reporting activities while bringing a consultative mindset to look at areas for improvement and collaboration.Why Choose Us:A team that encourages and wants you to be successful.A team that will always be there to listen and help.Interesting work, not just the usual copy and paste.Transparent career progression.WFH and flexible working environment.Central location plus EOT and great social vibe.Your Day:Identify and assist in streamlining processes, e.g., month-end accruals, budgeting and forecasting processes, billings, and cash collections.Provide assessments on key financial project risks and opportunities.Preparation and review of allocated business unit financial performance.Provide required training to the business unit regarding relevant financial matters.Active involvement in the cash flow forecast processes for the Group.In-depth understanding and analysis of overheads, highlighting valuable insights.About You:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, and/or Commerce.CA/CPA qualified or studying towards a qualification.5+ years post-graduate experience in financial/management accounting roles within a large corporate environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Advanced Excel modeling skills.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to prioritize and control workload arising from a broad user base.Experience in working with large ERPs.Who is Sedgman:Sedgman Pty Limited is a market leader in the design, construction, and operation of mineral processing plants for the global resources sector.
