They are seeking to appoint a talented Finance Business Partner to engage with the Site Leadership Team to identify opportunities for financial improvement and support real-time problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.The RoleReporting to the Head of FP&A, the newly created role of Finance Business Partner will perform dual Finance Business Partner and Cost Accounting functions in a high-impact, decision support role. Aiding General Managers and other Senior Finance professionals in the business, your duties will include but not be limited to:Consider and develop transformation and business improvement initiatives that will continue to position the business strongly in improving profitability and capital efficiency and achieving strategic objectives, including operating model development and growth.Maintaining average costs of raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods.Providing variance analysis and managing the budgets around all costing issues.Analysing production costs and recommending changes.Developing and maintaining accurate costing systems in relation to labour, production methods, and material supply.Ensuring all costs are identified and recorded accurately.Playing an active role in costing new products.Performing month-end cost accounting close and producing monthly management reports including material costs, labour cost, and overheads.Conducting analysis of all costs.Processing stock reconciliations and coordination of stock takes and cycle counts.Managing and performing inventory controls.About YouThe successful Finance Business Partner will hold a degree in finance and ideally have experience working in the costing area of manufacturing; however, the business is keen to consider those with a fresh perspective from outside of the industry. You will be highly motivated, a self-starter, and take a proactive and disciplined approach to getting your work done.
