View Position Description Continuing | Full-Time Higher Education Officer Level 8 | $110,581 - $122,420 p.a. plus 17% Superannuation Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country About Finance and Procurement Services Finance and Procurement Services assist the University to achieve its goals by providing quality leadership, information, and financial services. The Finance and Procurement Services team undertakes monthly financial management reporting and forecasting, annual budgets and monitoring performance against these budgets, all regulatory financial reporting, monthly compliance, procurement contracting and functional areas of paying suppliers, receipting revenue and annual financial statements.About the Role The Finance Business Partner will provide on the ground, within the operating division, monthly financial reporting, and annual budget information capture into the University general ledger system. This position is the key conduit between the Operating division leadership as the customer, and Finance Planning and Performance, as the service provider. The incumbent will work collaboratively with Operating division leadership to understand localised financial strategic plans behind effective Operating division operations.About You To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:Tertiary qualification in Accounting or related area with CPA/CA qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience or education Extensive experience in a monthly financial reporting, variance analysis & commentary and annual budget setting. Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, with the ability to influence through advanced communication and presentation skills Experience in successfully identifying and delivering improvement of service provision in the delivery of monthly financial reporting and annual budgeting processes. Knowledge or experience working within the Australian Higher Education sector (Desirable).
