Finance Business Partner (Finance Manager)

Our client, an international marketing execution partner of the world's leading brands, is looking for a Finance Business Partner (Finance Manager) to plan, develop, organise, control and coordinate its Finance Department.
Based in Burwood, NSW, and reporting to the Finance Director Asia Pacific, we are looking for a senior person to help develop systems and controls within the business and to provide senior managers with the relevant information to facilitate decision making.
Duties and Responsibilities Determining, implementing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating management reporting tracking financial performance against budget.
Provide advice to senior management on business performance, funding requirements and risk management.
Implementation of cost performance and support the implementation of benchmarking and improvement initiatives.
Assess capital finance proposals.
Advise on investment strategies, sources of funds and earning distribution.
Variance Analysis around actual results compared to the budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre.
Compiling the annual budget with senior management.
Analysing trends and financial performance across business units.
Supervising and training junior staff.
Taking part in systems' and process improvement initiatives, including the implementation of the Hhub operating management systems.
Skills and Attributes Experience with forecasting and budgeting.
Experience in working with SAP Business One and the Hhub operating management system.
Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards.
Ability to analyse complex reports.
Ability to effectively communicate accounting concepts to non-finance staff.
Organised and structured in daily duties.
Excellent attention to detail.
Team player and ability to establish strong relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate business partnering.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages.
Relevant Business/Finance related degree.
