NES Fircroft are working with Woodside Energy seeking a Finance Business Partner for their Drilling & Completions team.Location: Perth CBDLength of Contract: Initially 8 months (Contract ends in 2025)Roster: Monday to FridayExperience: Senior / Business PartnerReports: 6 Direct Reports, 11 in total.Start Date: ASAPThe position of Drilling & Completions (D&C) Finance Business Partner is responsible for the financial aspects of D&C activity throughout the Woodside E&P lifecycle. The incumbent should provide insights that drive efficient cost management and resource allocation while also striving to develop sustainable Finance processes that meet D&C management needs.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with SOX controls.Cost management for D&C campaign.Accruing monthly well costs in accounting system in line with drilling reporting and review results against plan.Contract reviews for D&C campaigns (rig/vessels).Half and Year End D&C lease and commitment reporting.Embedded derivative reviews for D&C contracts.Cost tracking against AFE and well cost estimates to prepare accurate monthly accruals.Prepare quarterly forecasts with cost controller and annual budget for D&C activities.Completion of well reconciliations (e.g. mud, cement, casing, completion materials, fuel) – currently being transitioned to cost control team.Monitor, allocation and close out of campaign accounts.Maintain appropriate reporting & analysis to enable decision-makers to discharge their responsibilities.Build relationships with key stakeholders.Continuous improvement to improve the delivery of financial services and processes to meet business requirements and shift emphasis from historic review to performance management.Skills & ExperienceCompleted a recognised Accounting qualification.Member or Associate of a recognised accounting body.At least five years working experience in an accounting environment.Experience in oil and gas industry and/or D&C environment is an advantage.Key Systems And ProcessesAnaplanSAPIDS Cost Tracking systemGroup Finance Policies / Procedures & D&C Policies & Procedures (Industry standard Practice)If interested, please apply or send your cv to ****** ID 269445With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
