Together let's redefine retirement living for senior Australians.The OpportunityReporting directly to the General Manager - Community Finance BP, this role will partner with State Managers and Group Community Managers, and act as a trusted advisor to drive Regional Community performance by providing financial analysis to add value in decision making and real-time support.The role will also provide support to the other Financial divisions as required, and be a role model and develop strong relationships with Resident Committees and residents.What we offerUp to 12 weeks paid parental leave2 additional 'All About Me' leave days per calendar yearFlexible and hybrid working arrangementsAbility to purchase additional annual leaveOpportunities for further career developmentYou willResponsible for partnering with the State Managers and Group Community Managers to deliver Regional Community performance to planProvide business forecasting and financial modelling to support business plan delivery and strategic initiativesLead the budget process for the group of villages which the Business Partner supports at year endReview and support compilation of the Year End financial statementsPresentation of periodic reporting of business performance to senior management and village committees as appropriateProvide stakeholder management support to the Financial Operations team, acting as a conduit between the business and the finance teamAssist with training and professional growth of staff to develop their full potential consistent with the business' needs and ensuring their career growthFoster a work culture that accommodates change, a growth mindset and expansion opportunitiesPartner with the business by creating and presenting relevant financial analysis to support commercial decision making and negotiations and identify opportunities to improve performanceProvide commercial decision support to the Operations teams as neededActively identify and support opportunities for finance and operational process improvement across the village and corporate operations areasWhat you'll bringDemonstrated experience in finance roles with a minimum of 7 years' experienceDemonstrated ability to influence decision making across a wide range of stakeholdersAnalytical mindset, able to interpret financial insights rapidly and leverage this to influence a wide range of stakeholdersStrong understanding of retirement village legislation, business strategy and key value driversStrong business acumen and commercial awarenessCapable at generating data-driven insights and deploying dashboard reportingAbility to build strong business relationships and quickly gain trustSuperior communication skills, ability to communicate message, understand audience and deliver information in a clear mannerAbility to influence others who may not report to them and work in a collaborative mannerTertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance or relevant fieldWho we areAs a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
