About the role The Finance Business Analyst will provide financial insights, drive process improvement and enable financial decision making to ensure financial sustainability for Australian Red Cross.
This position will support the Finance Business Partners in design and implementation of financial and performance reporting in Adaptive Insights, in depth analysis of business trends, threats and opportunities and the budgeting and forecasting process.
Day to Day you will Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including but not limited to budgets, forecasts, variances, and performance metrics. Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives and provide insights, recommendations, and support. Utilise Workday Adaptive to prepare and deliver clear, concise, and insightful financial reports and presentations utilising financial and non-financial data for various stakeholders, including executives and department heads. Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve efficiency.
Work closely with the broader finance team and other functions to implement process improvements and automation solutions. Assess financial risks and uncertainties that may impact the organization's performance. What you will bring Sound professional experience in financial analysis, business partnering, and/or management consulting. Proven ability to identify issues and work through solutions. Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and insights from financial data using tools such as PowerBI. Proficiency in building financial models to support decision-making processes, including valuation, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis. Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders at various levels of the organization, including non-finance professionals. Experience utilizing and supporting integration of ERP systems (preferable). Workday Adaptive & Office Connect experience beneficial.
