With nine offices around the world, we are seeking a motivated Finance Assistant / Accounts Payable to our Head Office located in Seventeen Mile Rocks, Brisbane. Our business covers marina design, manufacturing, construction and civil works.

About the role:                                                                  Reporting to Financial and System Accountant, the Finance Assistant is an integral member of our small team. This diverse, rewarding, and hands-on role will draw upon your experience in accounts payable.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Verification, coding, and data entry of invoicesMonitoring the accounts inbox on a daily basisEnsuring creditors accounts are reconciled and timely payment of all creditorsCreating bank entry files and paymentsResolving internal and external queries as necessaryAssisting with month end routines and accrualsOther finance related activities as requiredMinimum requirements: 1+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable roleDemonstrated experience in identifying opportunities to improve processes in a Finance roleHave a working knowledge of accounting methods and accounting software systemsStrong numeracy and literacy skillsStrong time management with the ability to meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple tasksStrong attention to detailFlexible and willing to assist other team membersExperience with high volume invoice processingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focusWhat we can offer: If you're a leader, who delivers quality work, works effectively in teams, enjoys challenging and busy environment, we'd like to hear from you.
