About the Role The Finance Assistant is responsible for maintaining accounts receivable and financial reporting for both aged care (Home Care Packages & Commonwealth Home Support Programme) and NDIS services. This includes:
Managing invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and financial monitoring.Submitting accurate DEX reports for CHSP services.Collaborating with team leads to track budgets and flag variances.Supporting the Finance Lead with efficient systems and processes.This dynamic role offers an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our participants while enhancing your financial expertise.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Management: Ensure accurate invoicing, reconciliations, and compliance with funding guidelines.Financial Monitoring: Generate reports, analyse budgets, and address variances to optimize service delivery.Compliance & Reporting: Maintain data integrity in Visual Care, Xero, and other platforms while adhering to relevant standards.Collaboration: Work closely with the Aged Care Lead, NDIS Lead, and other team members to ensure seamless financial operations.About You To thrive in this role, you'll have:
Experience: Background in accounts receivable, financial reporting, or similar roles.
