Pinion Advisory is seeking a dynamic, people-oriented and experienced Finance and Business Manager to support the growth of our expanding business.
This is a new and exciting position, based in one of our offices in either Hobart, Launceston, Devonport, Adelaide or Clare, with a key focus of providing robust financial oversight for the company and managing business practices and resources to optimise company performance, aligned with Pinion Advisory's strategic plan.

THE POSITIONThe Finance and Business Manager is a full-time position, located in Tasmania or South Australia, and is responsible for overseeing the financial health and business operations of the organisation.
You will be part of the senior executive team, driving financial performance, guiding business decision-making, and ensuring that financial strategies align with overall business objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Finance and Business Manager position brings together the financial and operations aspects of the business, to ensure a coordinated and strategic approach, resulting in optimised business performance.
Financial management functions include:
Prepare and oversee the administration of budgets, cash flow, account payments and financial plans to ensure the company meets its financial goalsOversee accounts management in partnership with the Pinion Advisory accounts Team LeaderConduct financial budgeting and forecastingExecute accurate reporting that enables sound analysis and financial recommendationsInterpret historical financial data, providing business insights and informing strategyImplement financial controls and close monitoring of performance to ensure strategic objectives are metImplement systems, tools and technologies to enhance business productivity, client value and employee experience.Business functions include:
Oversee the management of internal business support operations, including IT, marketing and HR, in partnership with the relevant Pinion Advisory Team LeadersImprove operational management systems, processes and practices focused on supporting the Pinion Advisory consulting teamOptimise and streamline operations to drive efficiency, productivity and profitabilityFoster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, safety, and excellenceDeliver leadership and operational support internally across the businessProcess and workflow improvementGuide development and implementation of IT strategyOversee regulatory and legal complianceEnsure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective wayContribute to strategic plans to achieve company goals.TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIREBachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g.
